National Gallery of Modern Art
During our full trip to India (blog coming soon), I visited the National gallery of Modern Art Delhi. It was part of Jaipur House. It had a beautiful dome on top from the outside, looking like a palace. It is currently owned by the Government of India.

I stepped in, purchased the tickets (Rs. 20 only) and dropped my bag off in a locker given.

 I went to the first floor which had beautiful sculptures made in the 'modern' period. There was also an amazing sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi. I really enjoyed the sculptures made with different materials such as stone and bronze. Majority of them were made of bronze.

I moved on to the second floor which had lots of paintings. The artists I really liked were Raja Ravi Verma, Thomas Daniell, Chitaraga Krishnappa and M. F. Pithawala. There was also an artist, Antonio Xavior Trindade who painted during the British rule. His painting Lady with Jar was fascinating.


The third and fourth floor also had attractive paintings. There were a huge number from Rabindranath Tagore which were simple but not very pleasing to me. There were also self-portraits of Amrita Sher-Gil. Some of Gaganendranath Tagore were also there. There was also a special painting (unknown) of a mother ( Mother Teresa) with her child done by M. F. Hussain. It looked beautiful.

The National Gallery of Modern Art was so much fun! It is highly recommendable.

Trip to Genting Highlands, Malaysia

On a school excursion, I  went to Genting Highlands from 23rd of September to 25th of September, 2 nights and 3 days. My school, Global Indian International School were taking us by coach. DAY 1 We had to reach school at 6 am in the morning. We left from school at 7. The ride was quite smooth. We did immigration at Tuas checkpoint. As soon as you do immigration you're in Johor. As Singapore is an island, it is separated from Malaysia. So, there  had to be a bridge connecting these both. On the bridge to enter Malaysia, there was heavy traffic. We had to wait for about 40 minutes to reach across in Malaysia. Later after doing a security baggage check in the Malaysian checkpoint, we had to board another bus.  After boarding into another bus, five minutes later, we went to a B&B which is a breakfast place and a shop. Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Borja Morata is a professional soccer player who is a forward for Chelsea and a striker for the Spanish national football team. He had joined Chelsea for a £58 million deal. He is no. 9 in Chelsea and no. 7 in the Spanish National Football Team. He had gone to various other teams before joining Chelsea, like Real Madrid and Juventus. He has won many awards like Zlatan Ibrahimovic . Morata celebration On 5 November 2017, he scored a goal against his formerly coach's team.  He has scored a numerous amount of goals till now and will score more than that in the future. Morata does his celebration in a very weird way. He is now my favourite player now.

2018 FIFA World Cup

As you already may have known, the France National Football Team has won the world cup. They played excellently and won all the matches except for one that they drew: France win!
