On the 10th of March 2019, Ethiopian Airlines 302 from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, crashed 6 minutes after take-off and killed all 157 people on board. The aircraft was a brand new Boeing 737 Max 8.
The same aircraft crashed in Indonesia in October 2018. Lion Air 737 Max 8 had killed 189.
As this was the second time, some countries like Singapore, grounded the taking off and landing of any variation of the 737 Max.
Boeing said that it was safe and others kept flying the Max 8.
There was a huge crater created at the crash site. Boeing said they were "deeply saddened" because of this situation.
It was a very saddening situation and it meant a lot to people all over the world.
