Guindy National Park

On the 24th of December, I went to Guindy National Park in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. There was a short line for the queue for purchasing the tickets.

Spotted deer

The first animals we saw were the spotted deer. They were eating their lunch. The crows were disturbing them by eating the deer's lunch. Some crows were sitting on the deer too! Till now, the bad thing I liked about this zoo is that it has too much fencing so pictures are not coming well.

Next, I saw the Vedanthangal birds. There were many birds. One bird had a black beak like an ibis. The other bird actually looked like a chick! We also saw another bird like a pelican.

The next animal I saw was the Jackal. It kept on running to the fence and going back like it wanted to escape from the enclosure. There were two of them. They also looked quite fierce.

Next, was the other type of the deer, the Sambar Deer. There were a lot  of them and were coming in front to pose for the pictures!

We next saw the peacocks. None of them had opened their feathers though. My favorite was the white color peacock. They were so long and some were even making their 'caw' sound! Wow!

Then, we saw the ostriches. They were growing a lot of fur on them. And by a lot of fur, I mean a ton of fur.

After that, we saw the turtles in the water. There were so many of them! But in that exhibit we also saw a crocodile!

Lastly, we saw the monkeys. Their face were pink in color.

That was the last animal we saw. We had a nice time at Guindy National Park!

Trip to Genting Highlands, Malaysia

On a school excursion, I  went to Genting Highlands from 23rd of September to 25th of September, 2 nights and 3 days. My school, Global Indian International School were taking us by coach. DAY 1 We had to reach school at 6 am in the morning. We left from school at 7. The ride was quite smooth. We did immigration at Tuas checkpoint. As soon as you do immigration you're in Johor. As Singapore is an island, it is separated from Malaysia. So, there  had to be a bridge connecting these both. On the bridge to enter Malaysia, there was heavy traffic. We had to wait for about 40 minutes to reach across in Malaysia. Later after doing a security baggage check in the Malaysian checkpoint, we had to board another bus.  After boarding into another bus, five minutes later, we went to a B&B which is a breakfast place and a shop. I  bought few items there. The items were very cheap there as compared to Singapore. But, I didn't buy any breakfast there. In Genting we we...
