Book review - The Breadwinner by Deborah Ellis

Parvana, a sixth grade student, lived in Afghanistan with her family. All girls and women were not allowed to go outside the house or go to school. This was a strict rule made by the Taliban, the people ruling Afghanistan. Her family consisted of her father, her mother, elder sister Nooria, younger sister Maryam and younger brother Ali. Her father gets arrested for having books in the house and having a foreign education.
