Qutub Minar was built by 3 Kings. The Qutub Complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before there was a spiral staircase where people were allowed to go on and climb using the internal staircase to the top of the tower. But then, an accident happened. The staircase lighting failed which lead to a stampede occurring and left 47 people dead. From now on, you are not allowed to go. Alai Minar In the Qutub Complex, information was given how it was formed and became such a famous monument. There was the Alai Minar, an incomplete tower made by Sultan Mau'd Din Khalji. He wanted to build this tower double the dimensions of the Qutub Minar. Unfortunately, he died during the construction in progress. None of his successors tried to complete it further. Tomb of Iltutmish There was a graveyard which probably had the bodies of Mau'd Din Khalji's family. Iltutmish, the second Sultan of Delhi's tomb was here. It was beautifully decorated with a dome on top.
